- Philosophy: Liberal/progressive. Liberal is not a bad word!
- Reproductive rights: The government has no right to interfere in a person’s medical decisions. This is a privacy issue, not a religious or moral issue.
- Gay rights: The government has no right to discriminate on any criteria, including sexual orientation. Everyone should have the same rights, including the right to marry.
- War: I’m a pacifist. Violence only begets more violence. War does not solve issues, only diplomacy does.
